Once social change begins it cannot be reversed. You cannot uneducate the person who has learned to read. You cannot humiliate the person who feels pride. You cannot oppress the people who are not afraid anymore.

Men often become what they believe themselves to be. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn’t have it in the beginning.

Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy.

Inspire love and growth

I’m cutting back on alcohol, coffee, going out, any and all toxic entities.

I’m kicking it up a notch on working out, reading, culture, any and all entities that inspire love and growth.

Hello: do you inspire love and growth? Well, please, won’t you come into my life?

It feels incredibly strange as I sneak my way into responsible adult territory. Like they’ll realize I don’t belong and will be forever banned from adulthood.

But I belong. I know I belong here, this place that I’m at in life now. And I am low-key really proud of myself.

Is this real life?! Yes, yes it is :D

Never undervalue someone’s pain just to heighten your own.

I should really have fresh flowers around the apartment more often. It brings a certain harmony and airiness to the home. Fixing these up last night was certainly comforting. Plus, I turned this pretty beer bottle into a lovely vase. :)

Happy.
